Low carb diets- Do they really work to trim our weight?
Health experts have predicted that large population of western societies like the US & Canada now face the stiff challenge of tackling situations called obesity since it is estimated that the total number of obese people in USA alone is around 60 million & this number could be even higher in the coming days. Lot of people have already realized this problem & are adopting to low carb diets that will have help to arrest obesity in a gradual manner.
Medical community have reveals us that carbohydrates are solely responsible for providing energy for majority of cells in our body & cells in our brain as well. The real truth is that simple carbohydrate foods may not offer any nutritional value for us in the long run but can cause some side effects like cavities and tooth decay when consumed regularly. On the other hand, it is clear that low carb diets are indded tastier & nutritious than high carb foods providing us with high protein & mineral contents along with low fat levels & hence needs to be adopted in the longer duration.
It is proved that according to medical sciences that low carb diets are extremely healthy, tasty & nutritious even in the long run & can be easily followed without any problem. Quite a few diet programs are available like the Dr. Atkins diet, south beach diet, Hollywood diet, etc to name a few & these programs recommend us to stick to their respective diet choices based on the programs chosen.
Meat & eggs, pork, lamb, salmon & hard boiled eggs are some of the Foods that are prescribed under the low carb diet plans or recipes & these are considered safe for consumption to achieve our final objective. These are some of the suggested low carb diets that most of the health gurus wants us to adopt.
In case if you are pretty over weight, it is highly recommended to chose low carb vegetarian diet plans that are blessed with high protein content along with low fat levels. These include eggplants, spinach, broccoli or tomatoes. It is also suitable to go in for vegetable salads for our diet plans & garnish them with crumbled bacon, boiled eggs or mushrooms to have a perfect vegetarian meal that will keep us healthy for long time.
The bottom line is to reduce our weight in a healthier way so that obesity is arrested to maximum extent possible. This will not only help us to keep good health but also avoids major health hazards like high blood pressure, cholesterol in the best possible way in our middle ages.
